Hello, I considered buying Norton 360 for my PC since I found a good deal on a 180-day plan. I could also have gone with Norton Anti-Virus, but I’m not sure how they differ. My main concern is which one offers better value since they’re almost the same price. Thanks in advance, Harry.

I wouldn't bother asking here, but 90 million folks say to steer clear. However, avtest.org gave it a very positive review—check out their page for details. Most other products were also tested there.

Avoid paying for antivirus software. Run Malwarebytes occasionally—every few weeks.

Only when you're very careful with your online activities should you consider these tools. There are many reliable free antivirus programs such as AVG and Avast, and you can also run Malwarebytes once a week for a thorough scan.

I only use Avast (free) and Chrome without any issues. My friend relies on Norton, but it often causes annoyance. I don’t think Norton is worth recommending.

The previous check was on 21-11... I'm about to perform a full system scan. (Full scan) OUTCOME: One virus detected. I tend to be careless and usually stick to familiar, well-known sites.
