Your system shows signs of instability where the processor frequently increases performance during tasks and becomes noisy when idle. The only solution seems to be using power-saving mode, but this causes the CPU to switch between boost and idle states constantly, which is disruptive. This behavior isn’t uncommon for AMD chips, especially with the latest drivers and BIOS updates. It’s becoming increasingly frustrating, and you’re right to question whether it’s safe for the CPU to experience such voltage fluctuations (1.0V–1.460V).

Ryzen's turbo boost performs exceptionally fast. Consider applying 1usmus' custom power plan.

Adjust the fan curve to rotate slowly at around 70°C before increasing its speed.

Checking if the CPU handles high voltage safely depends on the specific model and its design. Most modern Intel CPUs, including Ryzen, are built to operate within certain voltage ranges, but pushing beyond recommended levels—like 1.32V in your case—can risk damage. Always verify the manufacturer's guidelines for your exact processor model.

You can adjust it manually to 1,325V and observe its performance.

Checking if the AMD 3900X works at 1.325V is possible. Some users suggest avoiding undervoltage and refer to guides from people like Jay. The info seems mixed, so be sure to verify specs before testing.

Wraith Prism transitions to the D15 after receiving my brackets from Noctua, though my friend is still dealing with the same issue with his ASME part.

The noise problem disappears after installing D15. Everything else remains okay. Make sure to update the latest BIOS and the most recent drivers from AMD.
