They aren't the Asrock /HYPER Mobos, yet they share the same name, so I'm curious if it's possible to overclock a non-K model with them.

Consider using the BCLK instead, but the outcomes would be limited and it would produce more heat. These components aren't suitable for overclocking, and they could easily damage something.
