Problem remains unresolved. PC was active while 5G signal disappeared from the antenna. Once 4G was connected, PC only detected it after restarting. It seems I may need a better antenna that maintains connection when 5G drops, switching between signals. Likely Telenor is expanding coverage again in my area, especially during late nights or early mornings. I don’t use Telenor directly, but they rely on their network.

Provider suggested trying various PCs and cables. I followed their advice and tested both devices with different connections on my old PC. Even after switching to a shorter cable, the problem persisted. The antenna displayed a green signal, yet no connection was established. Restarting the PC didn’t resolve it. It seemed like an unexpected issue. Temporarily disabling and enabling the Ethernet port helped at first but eventually cut off the internet. It appears the antenna is the root cause. I’ve given up; nothing further can be done. I emailed the provider, but there’s been no response in a day. I’ll monitor the situation and consider switching providers if needed.

The problem appears to stem from the antenna being tested on an older PC and with a different cable, yet the issue persists. Restarting doesn’t resolve it. The only solution I have is to wait hours for it to suddenly work—sometimes minutes, sometimes hours. It happens multiple times daily or weekly, occasionally several days in a row, and sometimes not at all. I’m unsure what’s causing it. Maintenance reports say I have internet, but the antenna does too. This is frustrating. Other providers offer faster speeds and better pricing without monthly fees. I’ve reached out to Telia to explore options, but they declined a 5G antenna and their prices are now more competitive than before. I won’t choose Telenor either. If Telia can’t help, I’ll look elsewhere. My phone consistently shows strong 5G or 4G signals and stays connected, while the antenna remains unreliable—its status light is always green lately, unlike its previous red signal. This has been consistent for months. I sent an email to them, and they confirmed maintenance was done, but I asked why the light stayed green. I’ll await their explanation.
