Noise reduction during heavy work sessions
Noise reduction during heavy work sessions
Hey, during heavy work I usually use 25% GPU on a 3090 and notice audio problems. Recording didn’t help because the issue isn’t there. Check out this video I made: it looks like a file but no video, and I’m not sure how to fix it. You can find it here: https://i.imgur.com/8Ghu8Rv.mp4 VID20220913102519-Compressed.mp4 Any suggestions?
I believe I don't rely on Realtek audio drivers. All my audio is sent through my GoXLR, going straight to the speakers. The GoXLR app is currently fully updated.
Now I understand precisely what you're referring to. The issue isn't tied to AGESA 1.2.0.7, which resolves USB cutout problems on some AMD Ryzen boards. Update your BIOS and install the newest AMD chipset drivers. You can find support at the official sites: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-X570...FI/support and https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/...t-am4/x570. Even though you're not using the built-in audio, keeping the latest drivers is important—it can impact your system and hardware components.
I experienced comparable problems with RAM during a build. The same RAM that led to a random no-video POST on one machine caused audio-only or audio-video interruptions only during gaming on another. It might help to verify your board's QVL for the RAM SKU; if it's missing, that could be the root cause.
