Hey everyone, I’m facing an issue I don’t understand. The alarm sound keeps appearing on my computer screen without any clear reason—like when I play games or just browse the web. My Asus PB287Q monitor has a video showing someone else with the same problem, and the noise is quite loud.

Imagine seeing those guns if you could turn off your in-game monitors.

It occurred today, though I’m not entirely sure what caused it. I was quietly working at my desk when I heard a loud PEEOWWWWW sound until I turned the monitor off and on again. From what I found online, it might be an alarm signaling a problem with the boards or leaking caps, but there’s no clear answer. Please let me know if someone from ASUS can help clarify this.
