Hello! I’ve had similar issues with my Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro. It seems the battery continues to drain even after replacing it. After turning off the device, I noticed a high-pitched whine near the Type-C port and occasional blue screens with the POWER STATE FAILED message. I disabled many settings but the problem persists. I’m wondering if a Windows clean install might help. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It doesn't require any plug-in; it lets you discharge without any reason. This feature is typical in HP, Acer laptops, and they don’t offer an option to turn it off. Other brands use a similar method—toggle in the BIOS—and try using your phone charger to see if the device charges.
