Hey, I switched the thermal paste on my Macbook Air 2020 to thermal pads and temperatures are now much better. However, I’m hearing a very quiet buzzing noise from the CPU area. I’m sure it’s not the fan or speakers, just coming from the CPU itself. The pads I installed are Thermal Grizzly carbonaut, which are conductive. Around the CPU I added some Arctic thermal pads that aren’t conductive either. The Mac’s temperature readings don’t seem to be related to the noise. It’s just a steady, very low hum. I found a video guide that might help with the issue. Anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this?
