This has been happenign for a bit now. didnt happen as much before, was pretty inconsistent. woudl happen mayube oince a month. quiet-medium noise level grinding/buyzzing when starting pc. now it happens weekly and once i shut it off or restart it, it goes completely away. i have dusted it out and it seems to help, would this be a power supply issue or probably afan issue. computer has no porblem running so i dont thnk it is a power supply thing but I dont know pcs well.

If you can capture the sound, it will greatly assist us. A grinding sound often indicates a faulty fan bearing. There’s a distinction between grinding and buzzing—buzzing tends to be more electrical, possibly related to power supply issues or coil whine. We’ll need to listen to the noise to provide effective help.

I'm curious about whether allowing the PC to operate reduces the sound, or if starting a benchmark or game causes the noise to vanish.
