Noise during computer boot-up is common and can stem from various sources.
I own an older PC that still works fine most of the time, but about a week ago something changed. Whenever I booted up, a buzzing or rattling noise would appear. It stopped right after I powered it off and turned it back on. Now it seems to be coming from the GPU. I checked my graphics card and found dust on the fans and debris in the heat sink. I thought maybe that was the cause, but then I realized it could be something else. My hard drive isn’t showing any signs of trouble either. I bought a new computer recently, so I’m hoping it’s just a minor issue. Could anyone help me figure out what’s going on?
