Hi, I purchased an Asrock x570 Taichi around 1.5 years ago and it’s no longer covered by warranty. Just before the warranty expired (about a year ago), the SBFan began making noises you can hear in the video. It used to happen only at startup or under heavy use, but now it keeps occurring above 40°C. I attempted cleaning it, but it’s proving very challenging. I had to stop and take a break from troubleshooting for six months because I was getting too lazy. I didn’t realize the issue worsened when the front panel was off. Neither Asrock nor anyone else seems to have a solution. It’s becoming increasingly frustrating and concerning. Thanks for your help! 1060321062_SBfanissue.mov

You could remove the shroud, apply silicon grease to the fan bearings, or look up alternatives online. Alternatively, you might try a different fan entirely.
