Noise coming from the computer is unusual.
It occurred once when I turned on RT in The First Descendant and now it happens while loading shaders in BF 2042. Probably due to my GPU. System specs: CPU - Ryzen 7 9800X3D, GPU - RTX 5070, Pallet Infinity 3, MOBO - ASRock PHANTOM GAMING X870, RIPTIDE Wi-Fi, RAM - Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5 6000MHz, CPU Cooler - Deepcool PN750M, 80+ Gold, 750W. It seems the issue isn't resolved. I examined all the case fans and used MSI Kombustor to increase GPU fan speeds. The problem appears only during shader loading in BF 2042, where GPU usage drops to 5-7%. It doesn’t occur while playing.
The noise level might stay similar, but pushing fans to 100% can increase heat and potentially cause more stress on components.
It was actually a GPU fan. When I increased the fans manually in MSI Afterburner, it began making noise. My setup had an Anti-sag support with foam on it. Should I take out the foam and use it as is, or remove it completely? I’m not sure if it’s necessary for this small card. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
