Noctua NH-D15S performance with a clean air intake
I'm working on a build with the Nocuta NH-D15S cooler and curious about pairing it with the Vengeance RGB Pro RAM. I'm also thinking about using the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro V2 motherboard.
You can slide the fan up to clear ram if necessary and if you have enough space from the heatsink to the side of the case. I have also seen people setup the D15 in a pull/pull type setup but im not sure how well that cools? I have the D15S on an x570 with 4 Trident Z.Neo sticks and it clears alright. I don't know if the Vengeance is taller or not.
As far I can remember there is ram clearence explained on the Noctua site. I don't think you can fit it because ypur RAM is quite tall. But ofc you can lift up the front fan. Just be sure how wide is your case because in some mid tower cases D15 barely fits so you can close side panel specially take in mind that you will have to lift up first fan. I had schematics of the D15 printed on the paper...I believe you can find it on specs on the website.
