I wouldn't choose the NH-D15. The thermalright PA120 offers better value at about one-third of the cost.

I've installed it on my i9-14900KF and it functions well for stock frequency, hitting the 90th percentile benchmark—meaning minimal thermal throttling. I believe a more strategic approach would be to maximize the AIO performance for greater flexibility, possibly including RAM overclocking as well. If you plan to heavily overclock other parts, better cooling will help maintain stability. The NH-D15 performs exceptionally with air coolers.
