I've seen it personally, the improvements are more significant than they appear. It's minimal unless you push beyond limits, but overclocking shows a clear advantage on older systems since they offer more room for adjustment.

They do work well. The E3-1245V2 is a favored option for budget i7 models, alongside many others in the LGA1155 range. This isn't about cutting-edge titles or demanding performance; it's about a durable upgrade that will hold up over several years. I'm not focusing on high frame rates or intense gaming sessions—just reliable, consistent performance at around 60 frames per second.

I’d get the 2600 without needing any extra settings. Either PCIe 3.0 or 2.0 works well right now, but the 3060 won’t push past its PCIe speed limit anytime soon.

I understand the improvements are solid, but I suggest upgrading to a 4c/8t CPU. Check out this link: https://www.ebay.com/p/1607567471?iid=254857274380 — it’s an E3 1245 for $5 more than a 3570.

Also okay with suggesting 4c8t instead of 4c4t
