If not, there'll be torrents... Honestly, in a few years the biggest PC store might close, and by then most games would be from 20 to 30 years ago, so nobody would care about downloading them.

Large corporations surpassing Valve eventually faced decline. Apple nearly went bankrupt before Microsoft rescued it, and then the big internet crash of the late '90s to early '00s followed.

I hope my Steam collection remains intact for years to come, especially if relatives enjoy it and find joy in it. Who knows what the future holds, but I recall my brother mentioning that the team behind Steam had a strategy ready—so even if they closed tomorrow, we’d still have options to save and download our games.
