I'm experiencing issues with my GPU recently. When I type certain letters in a folder, the file colors appear reversed. Has anyone noticed something similar? Could this be related to the GPU or software? Also, the video captured on my phone shows flickering that doesn't fully capture with the screen recording tool.
It just worked, yes it functions identically in safe mode with full restrictions.
Launch the Linux Live CD of your preference, verify everything. Reconnect your GPU and see if it functions properly. If issues persist, proceed accordingly.
It might seem minor, such as a loose connection between the GPU and monitor cable. I’d start there. Other options include a faulty GPU socket or a failing monitor. A dead screen could also cause similar issues, though it’s not my top concern.
New update. Connecting the monitor simultaneously with the TV via the same port, and HDMI output to the TV. Attempting to recreate the issue on the TV results in no action. On the monitor, the displayed folder appears reversed on the TV. I'm testing a new cable and monitor but don't know what else might be causing this. Considering selling the GPU, but not wanting to give it away to anyone.
I mentioned it earlier—it keeps occurring on TV in a strange way. I unplugged the GPU and switched to integrated, but it’s happening again...
