Yesterday I assembled my new PC and faced several problems. Initially, the CPU/RAM indicators were flashing, which turned out to be caused by the M.2 drive. After removing the M.2, the system started booting up. When I inserted it into the second slot, everything functioned properly. I then tried switching it to Gen 3 in the BIOS since it was labeled Gen 4, and the first slot worked again. Adding more components didn’t resolve the issue. Eventually, I placed the M.2 in the second slot and moved on. Suddenly, the VGA light turned red, but the card operated normally in my old PC. When I tested my old GPU in the new system, it worked fine. I suspected a BIOS Gen 3 change might be the cause, so I reverted to Gen 4 and installed the new GPU. The next day, while closing the case, I pushed the PSU cables into the bottom of the power supply. The PC stopped working again, and the VGA red light appeared. I repeated the same steps before it functioned once more. Now I’m playing CP2077, but my headphones keep emitting strange electrical crackling, which is really annoying. I’m convinced this motherboard might be faulty. I’m certain a Gen 3 M.2 slot should work in a Gen 4 slot without any BIOS changes. It feels like the board has multiple issues—sometimes the GPU slot disconnects or there are shielding problems causing the crackling. Should I consider returning it for repair? Is this motherboard reliable? I thought AORUS would be dependable, but this seems different.

Listing the system details includes memory model and power supply information. Testing involved connecting various cables, which might indicate a loose joint or insufficient PSU performance. It's possible the hardware itself could be faulty.

All connections work well. The power supply is the Corsair HX1000i and the RAM is the Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz 2x8 CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16. Given the numerous issues I’m facing, I’m pretty sure the motherboard is faulty, particularly with the audio problems. I think I’ll go ahead and purchase the MSI MAG B560M BAZOOKA and return this unit.
