computers have worked well for years, but now it’s just turned on and shows no output numbers. I attempted to remove the battery, RAM, GPU, and all drives, yet nothing changes. The ASUS Z97 Pro I7 specs are missing from my memory.

4F memory issues mean your RAM is either damaged or the BIOS is faulty, both are inexpensive and simple to resolve. Since this board uses DDR3 and has a socketed BIOS, try different RAM modules to see if the problem persists. If it does, the BIOS is probably corrupted—a quick fix is to flash a new one. As a side note, the cheap Ch340A chip is common on older models, and you might be able to upgrade it to a Z97 Deluxe BIOS for improved performance. Most boards can handle speeds above 3200 MHz, though 5350s usually boot at 5500+.

You've tried various RAM options, but results remain unchanged. A BIOS flashback might not help in this case.

If the board has bios flashback functionality, it can also serve as a backup. If that doesn't work, the issue is likely with the hardware and you should perform a manual external BIOS flash using a Ch341A as demonstrated in the video I shared.

The BIOS flashback isn't functioning properly. From what I understand, you should rename the BIOS file, but changing it to just ".CAP" didn't help. It keeps flashing around five times before settling into a solid green state.

began employing AI, it suggested renaming it to Z97P.CAP which appeared to display correctly and appears to indicate a resolution of the problem. Thanks for the assistance Somerandomtechyboi
