Hey, you're dealing with a tricky situation. Since your PC isn't working properly and you're concerned about safety, it's smart to prioritize fixing the issue before investing more money. Consider whether a new motherboard is the best solution or if simpler repairs might work better on your budget.

You might attempt to straighten it again if it’s only slightly bent. Try to locate the specific pin causing the distortion. Not all pins are essential for this repair.

The motherboard model is p8H61-M LX3 R2.0 with LGA 1155. These are designed for older CPUs where pin configurations remain consistent. The pins are located directly on the board itself. The CPU appears to be in good condition, positioned near the bottom of the slot. I attempted to reshape it, but it simply returns to its bent state. It seems specialized tools might be necessary.

Each pin serves a unique purpose. Some handle voltage, others send data to particular spots. If it's merely a voltage pin, it’s unlikely essential for the system to function.

I’m concerned about the possibility of the computer overheating. All other functions seem normal.

The processor consumes significant energy, which makes sense given the situation.

No, that's incorrect. No. It's not.
