I recently switched to a Ryzen 3600X from an FX-8350. The system functions properly, but I wanted to reconstruct it using earlier components. Now the main issue is my ASRock motherboard isn’t booting—only beeping five times (indicating a process error). Fans are spinning, but nothing happens, not even the ASRock logo at startup. I’ve tried replacing the battery and running it without the graphics card.

retrieve the cpu, inspect its pins, replace it if needed along with the heat sink, and verify functionality. if successful, it should work; otherwise, the motherboard might be faulty. testing accuracy is limited without a backup cpu or another board with the same slot.

CPU is working properly. I plan to try reinstalling the heatsink.
