Hello everyone, I'm just starting out with PC building. Recently, I assembled a system featuring an RTX 3060 Ti and an R5 5600X. The issue I'm encountering is that when I watch a CSGO gameplay video recorded using NVIDIA ShadowPlay in Windows Movies & TV, I notice text like FPS, var, loss, etc., displayed with a red outline on my screenshots. This red outline disappears when I take photos directly from the PC. It only appears in Windows Movies & TV, but not when playing through VLC or without any GPU drivers. When I disable GPU drivers entirely, the red outlines vanish completely. Should I be concerned? Is this a problem with NVIDIA drivers or is the GPU failing? Note: I haven't overclocked my graphics card. I've tried reinstalling Windows, adjusting XMP profiles in BIOS, downgrading drivers, and switching HDMI cables—none of these solutions worked.

Join the discussions! The problem lies with Windows movies and TV. Watch them in photos or VLC.

Consider using a different media player such as KM player, Media Player Classic, or Pot Player. If the red outline appears, it may indicate an issue with Windows Movies & TV player, potentially causing improper video rendering.

Thank you for your reply. I shared the video with my friend, and he was able to play it without issues on Windows Movies & TV. I also tested VLC and Pot Player, but they didn’t cause any problems.
