I’m not familiar with the Pro Max, but I own a teeny MSI B450I ITX board. The compact stealth cooler causes issues with the RAM slots, while the bigger Wraith Prism works without problems. Removing the shroud with the AMD logo should allow the smaller cooler to fit. I’d expect the larger board wouldn’t be much worse than the ITX version!
I wouldn't bother with the stock cooler either. You can find better options at good prices that outperform the wraith stealth. I'll look into the UK's Geizhals next.
