I've observed some problems with my second monitor recently. Over the past week or two, tabs would flicker or vanish, especially while watching Prime Video where black lines appeared even though the screen was showing nothing. I’ve also noticed strange artifacts in images you mentioned. Today I tried playing Warframe and got multiple errors. Apex is giving similar issues too. While playing Overwatch and Resident Evil 4, I keep hearing loud high-pitched beeps. I’m trying to figure out if my GPU is failing. If you have any questions, I’ll do my best to help.

It might actually happen, but it’s not among the most likely causes. Most of the time it’s just a poor display cable or monitor. Try swapping it out to check if the problem disappears.

It was completed on my primary screen. It doesn't appear to be related to the display cable.

Verify with another cable if possible. Switching to a reliable monitor may help. Run DDU in safe mode to fully uninstall the driver and reinstall it, removing any software issues. If the problem persists, return the card for replacement.

I placed an order yesterday and plan to try the DDU option again.

Check with the support team for your specific model—either Amazing or MSI might handle the return, but confirm their requirements.

Returning it directly to Amazon for a replacement seems faster and simpler than handling MSI. But if you're past the return period, you'll have limited options.

The return policy depends on your specific situation and the store's rules. Since the GPU is defective, you may still qualify for a return if the item meets their conditions. Check their return window and guidelines to confirm acceptance.

Typically the return window lasts around 30 or 60 days (most likely 30), which is significantly shorter than a full year. Beyond that timeframe, you’re usually required to contact the manufacturer directly.

First idea: wipe your screens, then consider reseating the GPU—maybe even the RAM, though that’s unlikely to help much. If the problems continue, it’s likely the GPU is failing (possibly due to VRAM). I’ve seen this with two old GPUs: one Colorful 8600GT after years of use and another Zotac GTX1060 after just over a year. Your return period will vary by location. In Germany, besides the manufacturer’s warranty, there’s an additional two-year guarantee from the seller. If something goes wrong in the first year, the seller must prove it was your mistake—otherwise they’ll replace or refund you. For instance, my 1060 stopped working about 11 months after buying, and Amazon returned it without a word, giving me the full price. I kept the money, added roughly 50 euros, and bought a Gigabyte 1660Ti.
