Tomorrow I’m setting up my new PC. I’m checking if I still need to download drivers for internet and other services, especially after the internet part. For the specs you gave—Aorus gaming 7 i7 8700k, GTX 1080, 3600MHz, etc.—I should confirm whether those connections require drivers. Internet setup usually doesn’t, but I’ll double-check to be safe.

You simply install the newest software from Intel or Nvidia without using the DVD.

This might happen because of issues with your GPU, especially if it applies.

On Windows, updates often add many drivers the system assumes are necessary. The sole driver you must download yourself right now is for the graphics card.

You should check if your device supports the latest internet driver. If not, you may need to download it from the manufacturer's website, such as Gigabyte, before using it.

Make sure you have Windows 10 installed and connected to the internet. The software will fetch all files automatically when you start it.

I usually install the necessary drivers for my chipset, graphics card, etc., before assembling the PC to ensure they match the correct versions rather than the ones provided by Microsoft.

Yes, there is a noticeable distinction. On the internet, these differences often matter because you can choose better options.
