Hey there, I built my gaming PC myself and needed to change the thermal paste. During the process, some got on my motherboard. I used Arctic Silver 5 on an X570-f. After cleaning with a microfiber cloth, I rinsed it down with a clean cloth but didn’t have any alcohol. I unplugged everything beforehand. Did this affect my motherboard? I’ve marked the cleaned spot for reference.

They aren't all good conductors, but you should be okay overall

No alcohol required, simply clean it off. Or apply a damp cloth and let it air dry for an hour.

Thanks for asking! It seems you're checking if your motherboard was affected by cleaning it with a dry cloth. Let me know if you need further clarification!
