I’d shift some responsibility away from the boardmaker and onto the cooler’s design. That particular cable isn’t ideal—it feels stiff and inflexible. I’ve seen other coolers with smoother, more adaptable cables. If they opted for a braided wire instead of this rigid plastic version, it would be simpler to install and much more flexible.

I also don’t like the cable—it’s not very flexible and too bulky. I’m finished for the night. It’s really frustrating. Perhaps I’ll test whether thinner RAM modules let me route the cable between the heatsink and RAM tomorrow. By the way, where does the short cable connect? Does it fit into one of the headers or the Commander Core?

The slim part is the pump header. I connected it to the CPU fan port and set it to 12V full power. The thick cable goes into the Commander Core.

Sorry for the delay, but you could adjust the cable to a 90-degree angle and then install the RAM—it’s the most effective option available.

I attempted. It looks like fitting it in is nearly unachievable.
