I've encountered an issue with my Sapphire 7900xtx Nitro. It stopped showing any signal just five minutes after powering on. After using Discord and checking my screen, everything worked fine for seven months without any problems. I've tried various fixes and even replaced the motherboard, PSU, RAM, CPU, and performed a clean Windows install. I haven't done any overclocking. I cleared the CMOS. My previous 1070TI model ran perfectly. Right now I'm using that one. My current specs are an AMD Ryzen 7800X3D with 32GB DDR4 at 6000MHz, CL30, MSI MAG B650, Tomahawk Corsair RM1000x, and a Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD with NVMe 2TB. I'm considering returning the card through RMA but the process warns that cosmetic damage with visible scratches will disqualify it. Some scratches appeared because my case didn't fit properly for a while before upgrading to a larger one. These scratches shouldn't affect performance, but could they impact my return? Since I'm in Canada, does that matter?

Perhaps it varies. Consult them before sending. Verify your problem isn’t driver-related. Look in the bios to see if fast boot was enabled or disabled. Once done, check in windows to confirm settings match. If they differ, it may cause driver crashes. Also ensure CSM is turned off. If issues persist, download DDU from the provided link: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/Down...-DDU-18076. Run DDU in safe mode; it will ask before launching. After rebooting into safe mode, open DDU options and set "prevent windows update from installing drivers." Choose clean installation and skip restarting for AMD drivers. Once DDU completes, try again with Nvidia. After that, clean the system and shut down for GPU installation. Turn off the PSU and reinstall the 7900 XTX.

They might feel worse with marks on the circuit board and PCI-E connectors, especially on crucial components. Light surface scratches on the fan heatsink shouldn’t disturb them (hopefully).
