I’m planning to assemble my PC soon. It seems I won’t be able to get the 5900X at launch or even after two months, so I’ll opt for a budget 4-core chip from AMD or Intel and wait for it to arrive locally. Right now it’s available at this price point, which is fine since I need it for 95% of my gaming sessions to last five years. I’m prioritizing performance over raw clock speeds, especially with PCIe Gen 4 support coming soon. What should I do next?
