I found a special adapter on AliExpress that lets you plug an external graphics card into my laptop's M.2 slot, which is used for old SATA drives. I'm not sure if this adapter works with the graphics card though. Can anyone tell me what to do? https://ae04.alicdn.com/kf/Heb51f3aef3f6...b960ep.jpg

I would try to do that, but I need to know if you've read the manual with all the small details and rules for this adapter. Please update your post with the full list of system specs and what operating system you're running. Tell me about the power supply: make, model, wattage, how it looks (like brand new or used), and when was it bought? Did you use a lot of heavy gaming before? Check the voltage numbers to see if they match your needs. Figure out which pins and voltages connect where. I need to know what M.2 drives require and what GPU hardware is needed. What's causing the need for an extra graphics card? Which one are you planning to buy, and why external? Is there a specific problem happening right now? There might be other fixes available, but more info is needed to solve this properly.
