I recently enhanced my motherboard cpu and ram, along with an NVMe SSD. I powered off the PC last night and restarted it today; fans are spinning and RGB lights are active, but the display isn’t showing on my monitor. (PC specs at the bottom) I’ve attempted: resetting CMOS, testing RAM in different channels and PCIe slots, removing the GPU to use only the built-in graphics, swapping out cables for both CPU and GPU, and even changing power outlets. I’ve tried various power supplies in my home. Any advice or should I consider a replacement?

Give it some time. Keep an eye out for the BIOS display or the Windows logo. It may require driver installation.

I'll attempt that. I left it running for about ten minutes, but I can try for longer if needed.

I kept it on for six hours at work, it still powers on but doesn’t show anything. Can’t reach the post screen or bios.

My pc is starting up now. Fans and RGB lights are active, CPU fan is running, GPU fans begin and then cease, along with the exhaust fan. No output or posts appear. USB devices aren’t receiving power. I’ve attempted several fixes: CMOS reset, removed all USB devices, booted with onboard graphics, reinserted RAM, reattached GPU, CPU, and cables. Disconnected storage drives one by one, tried each RAM slot, reset BIOS, used a different power supply, and connected a separate power source. Left the setup idle for six hours while working to improve memory retention. Still no success. Awaiting assistance from Gigabyte tech support.

No problems with the GPU cooling fans. The fans won’t spin when the system is active unless the GPU temperature exceeds 55-60°C. Some motherboards let BIOS save power to USB ports, which might cut power to those ports. Verify you’re connected to the main GPU, not the iGPU output. If using dual RAM modules, place one in the A-2 slot and the other in the B-2 slot.

I've tested each stick in A2 B2 for memory training and waited 10-20 minutes. Also tried A1 and B1 setups. Used a spare power supply, booted without a GPU, and checked another storage drive. Re-seated the CPU and inspected pads for damage or bent pins. Without another AM5 board available, I can't exclude the possibility of CPU issues.

Uncertain about why folks are urging patience for the BIOS/startup screen. If it doesn’t appear clearly within seconds, likely an issue exists. My experience was similar—after checking hardware fixes, the problem turned out to be a failing CPU.

RAM should be set to A-2 and B-2. Install necessary drivers for proper functionality. A BIOS update may also be required.

I created a fresh setup on an empty SSD, but it still required 30 minutes for the BIOS display to appear.
