I purchased my key from kinguin after seeing some YouTubers endorse it, so I think it’s trustworthy. I’m just going with the crowd right now.

I’d accept nothing over $1 for what’s available. Anything beyond that isn’t something I’d consider discussing here.

And YouTube's are clueless fools. Always be wary of pushers.

Make sure to reinstall the OS definitely, even without an OEM key, since the motherboard drivers differ for a smoother and more reliable setup. Reinstalling is advised for a clean and stable experience.

The OEM license for Windows 10 is limited to the specific motherboard it was purchased on; it cannot be moved to a different board. Only retail licenses are valid.

I understand what you're suggesting—it hasn't been possible yesterday without any issues. Please visit the support page here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/cont...ctivation/ and provide your product key. Microsoft will assist you, and I can confirm this method worked for me as well. My OEM Windows 7 PC was activated on a different machine with a Windows 10 installation disc.

On the Microsoft site it mentions that your license may be used on a different system after major hardware changes, such as a new motherboard, provided you link it to your Microsoft account starting from the Anniversary update.
