Thanks for your understanding. It seems I’m still getting the hang of things, and I might actually be better off purchasing a genuine Mac Pro in the future.

Consider setting up Linux or FreeBSD for a bit of learning and online research. A hackingtosh involves much more trouble and is significantly worse. Expect many issues—App Store, graphics cards, etc.—and troubleshooting will require terminal commands. You’re likely to find the software isn’t built for your system. Since you’re new, stick to simple guides with ready-made components and clear build instructions. This helps avoid picking the wrong parts, like buying a water cooler only to discover it won’t fit in a mini ITX case.
