Is this registered or unbuffered ECC? unbuffered ecc should work, but registed wont work. But if you got the sticks you can just try it. Ive tried this before, and the board and ram still work.

These were the registered ECC drives, but they might not fit here. I'm going to look for 4x8GB storage options in Sweden at a reasonable cost.
