I got an HP laptop, not anything fancy, but I already own several Windows laptops. I’m thinking about setting up a Hackintosh on mine. I don’t have an Apple machine and no one around me does either. I’m looking for guidance or resources online, but most of what I find is incomplete or no longer available. Do you have any advice? Or would it help if someone with an Apple device could assist me? I’m not a total beginner with computers, but I’m trying to learn more about Apple stuff.

The laptop's specifications aren't clear yet. Not every laptop is vulnerable immediately. MacOS tends to be selective about its requirements, particularly with older models.

You don’t require a Mac to configure the installer.

It seems the response leans heavily toward a negative outcome, with minimal chance of agreement. The newer concept being considered is unlikely.

I'm not sure if it will succeed, but you might give it a shot. Check out the tutorial on InsanelyMacDiscord. There are many YouTube guides and searches for OpenCore hackintosh. Look up instructions for your laptop model at HackintoshZone, TomyMac86, or InsanelyMac. For example, this thread addresses Intel HD 515 graphics on HP EliteBook: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/probl...ra.259999/. Hackintosh can be challenging with unsupported components, but today it's much simpler.
