Hardware upgrades can only push performance to the advertised level. Be sure to review the fine details in your ISP contract, as the promised speed often doesn’t match reality. The real limitation will still be the ISP’s assigned bandwidth for your area. If they suspect you’re causing the issue or engaging in other wrongdoing, that alone can breach the agreement and trigger further action.
