I own a Windows copy, but I wouldn't recommend doing this without a key. I ran into problems when moving from 7 to 10 and ended up stuck with the Home edition of 10, which lacked many features I needed. I was curious about Hyper-V, so I don’t think copying an OS is wise. It’s usually better to get the original source—third-party copies might include extra software like browsers or similar tools. If you’re working on content creation or business apps, buying an OEM version could be a more affordable option. I wouldn’t spend too much money if you could help.
