Only Win 8 Pro can be enabled, and you must upgrade to 8.1 using the same key; you cannot switch directly to 8.1 with the 8 key.

Oh no, it's not working. I couldn't locate a Windows 8 Pro ISO but only a Windows 8.1 version is available.

You're welcome. I attempted it too. Just to clarify, I haven't used PRO yet, but I did try the Win8 Single Language key for activating 8.1 SL.

I've already saved Windows 8.1 onto my USB drive. I'm not using any antivirus software since I don't want it to slow things down and because I don't think it's necessary unless I'm constantly downloading pirated files. I rely on Windows Defender and "Common Sense 2015" for protection.
