I'm creating a new setup for my dad and don’t have the funds to purchase a brand-new $100 Windows Key from Microsoft. Fortunately, I discovered a Windows 7 Home Premium OEM key. Can I replace it with another key or source from a third-party site? Also, what architecture should I choose since his key is a Windows 7 Home Premium?

You chose Home, but I’m uncertain about using the Win7 key. The official free transfer window has already closed, though Microsoft might permit transfers if you demonstrate assistive tech usage (like a magnifier or on-screen keyboard).
