Consider purchasing a 32GB kit or opting for two 8GB units of the same type and speed.

2x8 would work too. It might be better since there are more channels. You don’t have to purchase a 32GB kit.

Just finished some tweaks and spent a lot of time switching tabs while playing. 16GB isn't enough anymore.

If you have 4 slots then nothing is stopping you from upgrading with more identical DIMMs.

Adding another kit won't guarantee XMP profile compatibility. For instance, with a 3200MHz CL16 unit, you should check stability before assuming full performance. Running it at rated speed might not be possible. Consider lowering the frequency to something like 2933MHz or 2666MHz instead.

Your device has 16GB storage and a 3200MHz processor. The only sure way to confirm is by checking the specifications.

It seems XMP might not function as expected. You could opt for a 32GB option instead to ensure compatibility.

"will not" makes it sound too certain, but yeah there's a chance it wont work and you cant return it for this reason unlike buying a full 32gb kit.

Sounds fine. I’m just planning to purchase a 32GB kit, honestly.

Varies by system configuration. Not every device supports quad channel. This setup works well unless you're concerned about XMP compatibility. Keep in mind that components tested together at rated speeds may not perform identically, and running RAM faster is simpler with two slots compared to four or more.
