Hey! I'm currently using this configuration. The 2x8GB RAM sticks are Dominator Platinum 3333Hz models. I’m looking for more RAM but can’t find the exact same model in Brazil. The options I have are:

- New - 3000Hz
- Old - 3333Hz
- Latency: New - 15-17-17-35 (C15)
- Latency: Old - 16-18-18-36 (C16)

My computer is mainly for gaming (Escape from Tarkov, GTA V, CitiesSkylines) and everyday tasks. Do you think combining these two sticks could cause a noticeable performance drop? If so, what BIOS settings would help balance the clocks and improve stability? I know I have two sticks, likely a four-piece setup, and bought them from a friend a few years back.

The solution might be uncertain. Make sure the faster RAM is slowed down to match the slower one, but this can become tricky since timing consistency matters. It’s usually not advised, though if you own both types it could be worth a try. Voltage compatibility is also important—there are no reports of mixing RAMs with different voltages, so it’s unclear how the BIOS would process it.
