I recently purchased two 8GB G.SKILL DDR4-2933MHz RAM sticks and swapped my single FuryX 8GB stick. I'm curious if combining the G.SKILL and FuryX would give you 12GB of RAM. Your specs: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, GPU - EVGA RTX 2060, RAM - 2x8GB G.SKILL DDR4-2933MHz, Motherboard - ASUS EX-A320 GAMING, Power Supply - Seasonic S12II 620W, Storage - 1TB, Cooling - Wraith Stealth Stock Cooler.

Sure, just to clarify, the setup would provide 24 GB, not 12.

You are allowed, but it's best to avoid this as it may cause a dual-channel issue. This could lead to a performance drop of up to 20%.

I believe you're correct. It's a decision between adding more RAM or enabling dual-channel memory.
