@ tribeofham Technet builds are different, OEM and Retail builds can't do this. There is no trial period for Win8 if you borrow the CD from your friend, cause the installation will not continue without the product key. The only trial you can try out is Win 8.1 Enterprise, it gives a 90 day trial before the user has to buy it.
