You can run the Windows media tool to install Windows 10 on a fresh system without a license, but you won’t have official support or updates afterward.

Yes, that's what it sounds like—similar to piracy.

I understand, I'm referring to downloading and utilizing them from the official Microsoft website without enabling them. It's been two months since that issue started. They don't allow setting a wallpaper.

Reject this request. It suggests bypassing activation, which is not recommended.

Why is the shop insisting? It seems confusing. They claim you must have an activation key to set up Windows. But I just got Windows 10 on my brother’s computer last month, and it’s running smoothly without any activation.

Which location are you referring to? You don't need a key; just select "do this later" when prompted, then use Windows without activation.

It's not possible. You cannot run Windows 10 without any operating system beforehand or skip activation. The guide suggests installing it normally without entering a key.

I'm not entirely sure we're aligned. The link CopperniX shared leads to a free Windows 10 upgrade guide from versions 7/8/8.1. I can confirm it functions properly. If you can find a cheap license for Windows 7/8/8.1, go ahead and use the link.

I was looking at the connection CopperniX provided, which leads to a free legal version of Windows 10 for upgrading from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1.

I understand your point. I tried a trial version of Windows 7 and followed the installation link afterward.
