I have an iPad, and I won’t tell you the whole story. The cable doesn’t work with your laptop because it’s a third-party one. I’ve faced issues before—electricity buildup on the cable can cause overheating and even fire. You don’t want that to happen again. Can I turn off your USB port from sending power in Windows or use a third-party app?

You're right, it's a good point. Using a device with power only at one end could help. A USB stick or external drive would work well.

Understand that rather than proceeding, remove this cable—it’s completely unacceptable to continue using it.

You receive a USB to USB dongle, but you don’t have one available.

The cable costs $20, which is one-tenth of the average salary in my country.

It's disappointing, but this situation poses a significant risk of igniting.
