This is my first attempt to overclock a CPU. But after some research, I realized that overclocking depends not just on the CPU itself but also on the RAM it uses. I have DDR4 Timtec RAM and only one 8GB stick at the moment. In the tutorials I found people usually mention an XMP setting in their BIOS, but I don't think that's possible for my RAM type. I'm aiming for around 4.7 GHz, not even 5, just to avoid damaging my CPU.

Also, I copied some instructions from this video here:
https://youtu.be/EQ15NW1qaxs
and noticed another suggestion to set the AIOcT to 1600 MHz. Now I'm wondering if that makes sense given my RAM should be at 2133 MHz, right?

Thanks for any help.

If you're unsure about your approach, it's wise to refrain from taking any action until you gather the necessary details. This involves reviewing various links, articles, and guides.

Eh, if the XMP option was there I would have been fine, but now, nope.
Windows 10
8GB RAM
Intel i5 8600k
Nvidia GTX960
Not particularly sure what else you need. Also already stated mobo and ram type as well.
Edit: Or can someone just tell me what RAM I need to buy to unlock the XMP option and I'll just go from there or something? I can always just throw money at the problem I guess.
