No worries, here are some suggestions for Witcher 3 mods.
No worries, here are some suggestions for Witcher 3 mods.
Hey everyone, after playing Witcher 3 for a while, I noticed some areas could improve—like the trading system and field of view. I already have four mods installed: HD project, FOV slider, maps that display every quest, and one that extends enchantment duration. If you have any additional recommendations for v1.31, feel free to share. I’m mainly seeking a balanced trade mod, but none of the ones I found fit this version. Thanks in advance for your help!
This lighting upgrade brings the game closer to the original E3 visuals. It’s worth trying it out if you believe the pre-launch version appeared more polished.
It handles the issue of weapons and armor wear very well. I’ve often wondered just how quickly they moved from perfect condition to damaged. Plus, it really helps cut costs by avoiding the need for expensive upgrades.
The game removes unwanted "dirt" effects from camera shots when viewing light sources. HairWorks stands out on every character except Geralt, though it looks awkward on him. I dislike its appearance on Geralt but appreciate it for griffins, wolves, fiends, and similar characters. Extreme Graphics Options lets you surpass the "Ultra" setting in most graphics menus. It adds extra UI presets that complement manual .ini file adjustments. Some tweaks are immediately noticeable, especially at high settings like foliage density and distance, while others are subtle. Nitpicker's Patch resolves a few odd visual issues and clipping problems, making the changes clearer in the screenshots. Improved Horse Equipment lets you set all gear to 100 for blinders, saddles, and saddlebags, letting you choose what looks best without worrying about stat loss. More Shadows introduces better shadows on certain light sources that were missing in the original game. Blood & Wine: Major Set Bonus reduced to 4. Grandmaster Witcher armor now offers bonuses for 3 and 6 pieces instead of 3 and 4, so you don’t need matching swords for your set. There are many great swords outside the Witcher lineup, giving you more freedom. Leveling Witcher and Relic gear is now balanced—armor levels with you and adjusts stats accordingly.
These mods come from nexusmods. Full exp ensures 100% XP in several quests. If you're already high-level, it provides partial XP auto-apply and automatic oil application based on enemies. Loots items automatically. Icons and text are customizable in-game. Torches work better for riding, climbing, and combat. Trophies improve with monster rewards. HUD is highly adjustable. Hairworks is disabled for Geralt's hair and beard. Fast travel options appear for Hattori and Crow's perch. Great for crafting master gear reworked by a Witcher 3 developer. Textures are clearer, draw distance improved, and bugs fixed. Shallow water jumps are possible. Quest markers on the world map are expanded without dirty lens effects. Removes Dandelion story intros to speed up loading over 9000. Inventory capacity is capped at 9000 (or unlimited technically). Ideal for collectors.
Thanks for your work on capturing everything. Since the LOD module didn’t work for you, can you try getting similar results with this version? The issue is that details become noticeably lost in cities right away when you move closer.
You might want to explore additional settings beyond "ultra" in the graphics menu. I'm not sure if it impacts distance rendering or LOD. The mod you mentioned appears to require several extra components and a more complex installation process compared to typical mods. Have you completed all the setup steps?
