I recently assembled a computer and don’t have a Windows USB available. I’m finding it tricky to create a bootable USB because my Mac uses different systems. If I exit the BIOS without a bootable drive, what happens? Also, if I plug in a Windows USB into the PC, will it automatically boot to it?

It might bring you back to the BIOS or show an unavailable boot device. The BIOS could treat it as the sole bootable option, but I favor manually choosing the drive in the BIOS boot override settings.
