Windows 10 remains free with existing licenses for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. The upgrade isn't necessary since there are no DX12 games available. The advantages of Windows 10 include sending data to improve your service. It's a solid operating system, but I don't think it's worth the change in my view.

No problem... You get a free upgrade if your PC has Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 installed and you want to move up. Going directly to Windows 10 still requires entering the product key.
