I don't understand why this happened, but a few months ago my PC's clock drifted about six minutes. It stopped working properly when trying to sync time and wouldn't let me adjust the time zone. I didn't notice until I learned that Windows licenses can be rejected by the activation server if the time is incorrect, which would remove the license. I own an older prebuilt PC and think the company wouldn't issue a new license if contacted, and I'm unsure if I even have my serial number. Now I'm concerned about losing my license. Have others experienced this?

You can adjust the time directly in the control panel. Computer clocks are known to be unreliable and may shift significantly over short periods if not kept in sync.
